I am just getting started with Earth Moon Earth (EME) communication on the 23cm band. My station consists of:
2.3m mesh dish, ex TV.
homebrew OK1DFC septum feed.
homebrew G4DDK VLNA.
W6PQL MRF13750H 600W PA and controller.
ALT/AZ slewing drive imported form China with homebrew drive electronics.
SG-labs 1296-144 MHz transverter
G4DDK Anglian 144-2 8MHz transverter

The LNA is mounted in a weatherproof enclosure directly on the septum feed with a latching isolation relay. The relay is controlled via the RX coax.
The transverter and PA are in a weatherproof enclosure at the dish. There is mains power to the enclosure for the PA and the transverter is powered via the IF coax. From this enclosure there is a single IF (144 MHz) coax (rg213), cat5e cable for comms and ref coax (10 MHz reference)
The AZ/EL drive electronics consists of an ATmgea32u4, two DRV8840 motor drivers and an isolated full duplex RS485 driver.
